Midway Window Tinting — Mobile & Same-Day Service

You're minutes from home base, so we can usually be at your driveway the same day. Fully mobile — no drop-off, no waiting room, no travel charge.

We Come to You in Midway

Midway sits just minutes from home base, which is why same-day slots open up here more often than anywhere else we serve. We're mobile-only: we pull up at your house or your job site, install on the spot in two to three hours, and you never have to drop a vehicle off or wait around. Seven days a week.

What We Tint in Midway

Automotive window tinting for cars, trucks, and SUVs, backed by a lifetime warranty. Residential tinting that cuts heat and UV damage in your home. Commercial tinting for offices and storefronts along Highway 98. And marine-grade film for boats in East Bay and the surrounding waters.

Which Film Makes Sense Here

Midway combines saltwater proximity with intense sun exposure — a tough combination for cheap film. Dyed film breaks down under sustained UV, turns purple, and starts bubbling at the edges, often within a few years. For any vehicle that parks outdoors regularly, ceramic tint is the smarter buy: better heat rejection, no dye to fail, no metal to interfere with signal.

Boats on East Bay

Marine film is not automotive film with a different name. A boat's glass takes UV from above and again reflected off the water, sits in salt air permanently, and flexes in a way a car door never does. Marine-grade film is built for that. We work at lifts, in yards, and at slips around East Bay, and the practical limits are access, weather, and how still the vessel is — not the film.

Florida Tint Limits in Santa Rosa County

The full statewide set, under Florida Statutes 316.2953 and 316.2954: at least 28% VLT on the front side windows of every vehicle, 15% behind the driver on cars and sedans, 6% on SUVs, trucks, and vans. Reflectivity caps at 25% front and 35% behind the driver, and the windshield may only carry a transparent strip above the AS-1 line. Worth repeating because it is the most common piece of bad information out there: SUVs and trucks do not get unlimited darkness in Florida. The floor is 6%, and 5% limo film is below it.

Common Questions in Midway

Can you really come out the same day?

More often here than anywhere else we serve, because you are minutes from home base and a Midway job does not cost us a half-day of driving. It still depends on what is already booked, so call and we will tell you what is actually open rather than promising and rescheduling.

How long before my tint looks perfect?

Give it a few days to a couple of weeks depending on humidity. Slight haze or small water pockets right after install are the moisture in the adhesive working its way out — that is normal and it clears on its own. Keep the windows up for the first two to three days. If something still looks wrong after a few weeks, call us and we will come look at it.

Will tint stop my dashboard from cracking?

It helps considerably, because UV is what breaks down the plastics and dries out leather, and quality film blocks around 99% of it. It is not a force field — a car parked in full Florida sun for a decade will still age — but the difference between filmed and unfilmed glass on an interior over several summers is easy to see.

Do I need to wash the car first?

Not necessary. We clean the glass thoroughly as part of the install — that prep is most of what separates a clean job from a contaminated one. What helps us is clearing the doors and the back deck of anything you do not want moved.

Staying Legal and Booking

Florida requires a minimum 28% VLT on front side windows, and the reading includes your factory glass — so we measure your specific windows before recommending a shade rather than trusting the box. Most vehicles finish in two to three hours, with pricing by film grade, window count, and access. Same-day appointments are common here simply because you are close.
