Mobile service — we come to you
Window film for Gulf-front condos, rentals, boats, and vehicles — installed on the island by the crew from just across the bridge. Fully mobile, seven days a week.
Condos and Rentals
Three things drive tint decisions on Gulf-front property. Heat and cooling cost — a unit with a wall of west-facing glass runs the AC hard from mid-afternoon on. Fading — quality film blocks around 99% of UV, which is what bleaches furniture, floors, and art. Glare — the reflection off the water and sand is what makes a beautiful room uncomfortable at four.
Check Your Association Rules First
This is the single most important thing to do before booking anything on the island. Condo associations often regulate exterior appearance, and some specify what film is allowed. Review your covenants before installation — it's a five-minute check that avoids a violation letter later.
Vehicles and Boats
Automotive window tinting comes with a lifetime warranty and is street-legal on every install — Florida requires a minimum 28% VLT on front side windows in Santa Rosa County, and we meter your glass to keep you compliant. For boats, marine-grade film handles salt exposure and the doubled UV load that comes reflected off the water.
Salt Air and Film Life
Cheap films deteriorate fast in coastal conditions. For high-exposure spots, ceramic window tint is the upgrade worth paying for — it blocks infrared heat rather than relying on darkness, with no dye to break down. One honest caveat: security and safety film holds glass together if it breaks, but it doesn't qualify as opening protection under Florida wind mitigation standards. Call (850) 930-1195 to book — we're on the island regularly, seven days a week.
Florida Tint Law for Island Vehicles
Navarre Beach is Santa Rosa County, so the statewide limits apply: at least 28% VLT on the front side windows of every vehicle, 15% behind the driver on cars, and 6% on SUVs, trucks, and vans, under Florida Statutes 316.2953 and 316.2954. The reading measures your film and factory glass together, so a film sold as "35%" can come in under the limit once installed. We meter the actual glass before quoting.
Common Questions on Navarre Beach
Can you work on a condo unit while it is between guests?
Yes — that is the window most rental owners use. Give us the turnover gap and we will schedule inside it. Residential film on a typical unit is a same-day job, and there is no wet cure smell or mess left for the next guest beyond a short dry-out period.
Do I need to be on the island while you work?
No. Plenty of the condo work we do here is booked by owners who live elsewhere. We just need access arranged — a code, a lockbox, or a property manager — and we will send photos when the job is finished.
Will window film help with hurricane season?
Be careful with this one, because it is oversold. Safety and security film holds broken glass together, which is a real benefit for storm debris and for break-ins. What it does not do is qualify as opening protection under Florida wind mitigation standards, so it will not replace shutters or impact glass and should not be expected to change an insurance rating on its own.
How long does film last in salt air?
That depends entirely on what goes on the glass. Dyed film is the one that fails early out here — it bleaches, turns purple, and lifts at the edges. Metalized film can corrode in salt air. Ceramic has neither a dye layer nor a metal layer, which is why it is what we recommend for anything with this much sun and salt exposure.
